Actually, re-reading my previous post, i've found a solution.
Kinda like Koizumi dissolved the lower house, I'm dissolving the orchestra at the middle school. Poof, gone.
Pending conference w/ band teacher/ veteran of all things generally.

It's gonna be chamber groups and solos, five days a week, til high school.
I think chamber groups could be good for exposure too. We could play in the school foyer in the am, for example. We could poof, reappear in small places in the school easily, and around town for that matter.
