Finally. I've learned the secret to ascertaining the true age of Osakans by sight alone. (or at least significantly narrowing my margin of error)
Many of us Western visitors are thrown by face and figure, both of which here do indeed often belie their years.
The secret is in the hands. An unseasoned face can lie, but with time all hands see work and care, and they will tell the truth.

geez. i know a man who used that device to appraise the true age of women he was interested in.
