grumpy friday morning. 7 am meeting at store for stupid survey, followed by closing shift. ugh. also, i've gone to war. gone to war with the thief (or thieves, as band they might be) who have stolen my identity and attempted to open all sorts of credit cards and even take a vacation complete with plane tickets and hotels - all in my name.

it offers a new sort of freedom though, this theft. not unlike an actor donning a wig, reinventing themselves. but fundamentally different- more perfect. here, the costume is unnecessary. less a false self added, the real self has been stripped away. leaving me a free agent, the ultimate radical, no-code with the system.

i will find and destroy the perpetrator(s). regarding their future, i can only quote Ghost Dog:

Don't worry
about Mr Vargo's daughter.

We need to eliminate
the scumbag who whacked Frank.

Frank was one of us. His killer
needs to be...neutralized.

Erased from the planet.

The fool(s) left a business number. they attempted to buy tickets on a certain date to a certain destination. woe to them their heavy footsteps, i follow the paper trail. i read myself my own rights:

You have the right to obtain documents relating to fraudulent transactions made or accounts opened using your personal information. A creditor or other business must give you copies of applications and other business records relating to transactions and accounts that resulted from the theft of your identity, if you ask for them in writing. A business may ask you for proof of your identity, a police report, and an affidavit before giving you the documents. It also may specify an address for you to send your request. Under certain circumstances, a business can refuse to provide you with these documents.
